“Uddharedatmanatmanam” (Uplift Thee, Thyself) with this mantra in the hearts the journey of the J. E. Society started in the year 1918. Earlier it was Anglo vernacular school and then transformed into Jadhavaji Anandaji High School because of the Philanthropic donation by late Shri. Odhavaji Bhate in memory of his deceased brother Jadhavji Odhavaji Bhate, Shri. Appu Master Jere a great mathematician, Shri R.A. Kulkarni, Shri G.V. Miraj, Shri V.G.Jere, Shri Shankararao Gadgil, Dr. B. S. Kulhalli and Shri R. S. Hipparagi are the pioneering teachers who laid the strong foundation to J.A High School.

2018 will be our centenary year. Ample of water has flown in the basin of river Krishna and our Society has grown in many folds. From KG to PG we have 10 (Ten) institutions rendering a yeoman service in the field of education in the farthest border area of Karnataka. Shri. K. A. Lokapur Arts, Science and Commerce College is a feather in the cap of J. E. Society.
